We call these our “gateway pickles”, a great pickle for those just dipping their toe in the world of pickles, a brilliant starter jar. These are an American staple, named during the great Depression when meat and cheese for sandwiches were scarce. These tangy pickled cucumbers were a cheap alternative to put between bread and butter. All of our pickles lean toward American-style pickles. They are less-sweet and more vinegar-forward than their supermarket counterparts. We like our pickles punchy!! Eat them in a burger, in between two fat slices of bread and butter, or if you’re a true baddie, enjoy them straight out of the jar!
