HTR 1 Damascus Ring : Forged & Hand Crafted - Rounded Center. INTRODUCING..... HOMETOWN DAMASCUS RINGS! As you know we are knife makers, but this is not the first time we are getting into jewelry related product. On custom requests we have made pendants and rings and have decided to offer them here on ETSY. Our Damascus is known to hold an edge and be displayed as an art piece, so we are experimenting using it on rings. Our rings are hand crafted and forged to a 1" Damascus Rod with twist and/or fire patterns consisting of minimum 288 layers of 4340HT and 1080 HC. We temper them to a hardness of 57 to 58HRC similar to our blades. The rings are ground by hand and mirror polished. Those interested, can also request rough finish if that's what you like.
