Levi was the kind of dog who defied odds and stole hearts. A rescue with a stubborn streak and a tongue that never quite stayed in his mouth, he had a personality too big to fit into words—or vet prognoses. When we were told he had just 10 months to live, Levi had other plans. He stayed with us for over two more joyful years, filling every day with goofiness, courage, and unconditional love. Levi had the biggest heart—one that loved without limits. In the end, it was that same heart that caused him to suffer, as he battled an enlarged heart and a collapsed trachea. Yet even through his struggles, his spirit never dimmed. He stayed silly, stayed strong, and stayed by our side—loving us the only way he knew how:   completely.
