The Rugby Shirt is a classic style that is as popular today as it was in the 1960s but there's something special about vintage rugby shirts that we love: the colorways, the heavyweight fabric, the life. We have been wearing vintage rugby shirts with the shorts and bell bottoms for years and we have developed our own rugby shirt that combines elements of our favorite vintage ones and is uniquely Hammies. Unlike most rugby shirts, ours is fleece knit vs. jersey knit with ribbing at the waist, so it fits and feels just like our varsity raglan. Additionally, instead of printed stripes, we joined two separate dyed panels to give it its two-tone look.
