Simple Ingredients, 100% Old-Fashioned Clean! 16 oz. Bag of Laundry Powder This Laundry Powder is a mix of simple ingredients: washing soda (sodium carbonate), baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), and my handmade Laundry Soap Base (a coconut oil soap w/ a boost of citric acid.) I make the Laundry Soap Base and finely grind it and then mix it with baking soda and washing soda to make the laundry powder. My process for making the laundry powder is simple but labor intensive. The end product is one that cleans well but without all of the mystery ingredients. My laundry powder does not include synthetic surfactants. Please follow the instructions and note this is a low suds formula, so you won't see any bubbles. The 16 oz. size of my highly concentrated laundry powder arrives packed in a compostable ziplock bag inside a cloth drawstring bag. 16 oz. of this laundry powder will do up to 32 regular laundry loads or up to 64 HE loads. So you can finally say goodbye to those big plastic jugs! I use this laundry powder for my daily dirty clothes loads and have had great success cleaning sports clothes and pet bedding. My laundry powder has been great for customers with sensitive skin. One customer uses the unscented powder on her family's camping clothes, and it consistently gets two thumbs up for removing smoky campfire smell. For front loading HE machines, toss the powder into the drum of the machine and then load items to be washed. Use 1/2 T. for small loads and 1 T. for large loads (about the amount of one commercially produced pod). Extra dirty clothes may need more, but do not use too much. A little really goes a long way! Wash on the warmest setting appropriate for fabric types. For a top loader use 1 T. for a small load, 2 T. for a large load. Add the laundry powder to the drum as the water is filling, allow it to dissolve a bit, add your clothing. My Laundry Powder is handcrafted in Portland, OR from domestic & imported ingredients. My wooden scoop (Sold Separately) is a globally sourced component. Store in an airtight container to prevent caking. I scent lightly. No scent will linger on your washed laundry.
