This Limited Edition Deer Jimmy's DIY Barrel Chips has been made of a premium single ex-sherry cask (from the Glenrothes Distillery). Add vodka of genever to the bottle, wait for 4+ weeks and enjoy your own unique whisky flavour spirit. How it works; Pour a neutral alcohol into the bottle of Deer Jimmy's. We recommend a (cheap) vodka or even better: a young gin; put the bottle in a cool and dark place for at least 6 weeks; taste regularly to see if you taste any differences; Before pouring, filter the drink well so that no wood chips get into your glass. Use a coffee filter for this, for example. Deer Jimmy's Premium Selections The Single Barrel is manually selected for characteristics such as origin and intensity of flavour; After the metal rings have been removed, the outside of the barrel is carefully sanded and brushed; The staves are shredded into small "Chips", suitable for quick flavour release.
