Roycroft Master Artisan Julie Leidel fell in love with the Arts & Crafts Movement (1880-1920) and the, vintage-style national parks, railroad and travel posters of the past. Julie mostly works from her own photographs to create original, hand-painted gouache artwork that evokes the feeling of yesteryear. Gouache is a paint in the watercolor family that is chalk-based for extreme opaque, matte coverage. These five styles of open-edition, giclée prints are created from a high-resolution digital scan of Julie’s one-and-only original hand-painted artwork.
