The peeled tomatoes from Masseria Dauna are obtained from an elongated variety of tomato grown in dry farming. The processing is entirely manual. The freshly picked tomatoes are carefully washed, boiled for a few moments, and then immediately peeled. The peeling is done entirely by hand with the aid of a kitchen knife. They are meticulously packed in glass jars without the addition of tomato juice and/or salt. The tomatoes are preserved completely naturally.
