Licorice root is an excellent expectorant, soothes a sore throat, improved breathing, supports digestion and Adrenal health, provide relief from a dry cough and heartburn*. What is the suggested dose?  2 to 10 gm/day. You can take this in divided doses. Do not exceed daily intake of licorice Root powder from the recommended amount (Not more than 70gm/day). Excessive consumption of Licorice may result in hypokalemia, increase in blood pressure and muscle weakness.
