Wholesale Sketch Book - Bastet Cat and Lotus Flower - 6" x 8"

This softcover sketchbook features a representation of the cat goddess Bastet. There are 20 blank pages inside with a printed design on the front and informational section on the back. The sketchbook is unlined, and staple bound. Printed by our artisans in Cairo, Egypt and designed specifically for our store. It is about 5.5 inches wide by 8.25 inches tall. Bastet is the feline goddess of plenty and joy and also represents the protective aspects of female desire. A daughter of Ra, the sun God, Bastet was aligned with the lioness and exemplifies the attributes of ferocious protection when called upon. Her nature is playful and fun-loving when not needed to protect against enemies. Ceremonies in her honor were said to be the most popular in all Egyptian history. The lotus is a symbol of transformation and rebirth because it opens each day with the rising sun.
