Description
Natural processed coffees from Baima are an excellent way to experience another small lot producer in the growing specialty coffee scene in Yunnan China. Baima is managed by Mr Shu Dong and under his leadership utilizes a high ferment method to bring out unique flavors. We roast this Baima very hot and fast for a light roast that yields notes of juniper berry that overlap with citrus and dark chocolate. The elevation is 1400-1600 meters above sea level. The nearby dome shaped incline is called Baima Mountain, from which this coffee gets its name. Baima translates to white horse due to local stories about white horses being on the mountain. After being dried on raised beds the whole coffee cherries are placed in oxygen free bags for fermentation. The Han and Hani people from the surrounding Pu’er region are the primary workers here. Available in 6oz bags, 12oz bags, and 1Kilo bags. Whole Bean Coffee

After a little confusion on the description on Faire Ben the founder of Quichapa reached out and made it better. The packaging is beautiful and the coffee phenomenal. Not your average coffee more on the high end so a treat for anyone serious about coffee.
