Whole green olives of the Nocellara variety cultivated and aged in the Castelvetrano area in Sicily. These olives are large, fleshy and have a delicate, fruity flavor. They are ideal for pasta sauces, side dishes, in salads and as appetizers to savor and share. Cured by hand in brine, no preservatives or additives have been used for the seasoning of these olives. Things to know: Olives are not edible straight from the tree. Because of their bitter component, oleurpein, olives must be cured before consumption.
