Traditional mate with small, finely cut leaves and a little powder. It does not contain stems. It is the most consumed type of mate in Uruguay. The color of the mate is a deep green, because it is not refined, to develop vegetal aromas, both intense and sweet. It reminds of some green teas. This mate is particularly suitable for traditional consumption with bombilla and gourd.
