THE LANKA LOUNGER is a handcrafted leather chair, produced in the hillside villages east of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The leather is strong, durable and classy. The chair is extremely comfortable, and complements every setting - suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Please keep in mind that we are just selling the leather part of the chair in this listing - get in touch for more details! We have an incredibly lightweight frame that we include free of charge (you pay only for the leatherwork and hide). The leather used is from domestic Buffalo species raised for meat. The tradition of leatherwork by working male artisans in Sri Lanka is a traditional craft. The chair is available in 3 tones. Please keep in mind that imperfections in the hide and leatherwork are to be expected, and we hope you appreciate your chair even more for this! This is what makes each piece uniquely handcrafted.
