This organic, washed decafé comes from the La Victoria Farm from Chiapas in Mexico and is decaffeinated by the Mountain Water process. The coffee has a full body, tastes sweet and spicy and is also easy to prepare for milk coffee such as cappuccinos. The Mountain Water decaf process uses clear, pure water from the glaciers of the highest mountains in Mexico. When decaffeinated, the green coffee beans are immersed in this water to extract the caffeine. The water contains the soluble components of the coffee beans that retain the elements of the individual coffee flavor, so that during the extraction of the caffeine, the beans retain their original flavor components. Once the decaffeinated process is complete, the beans are dried, packaged and shipped to our roasting industry so that we can burn these beans for optimal taste. Milled also available.
