Wholesale Blueprint 4 A3 poster print

An A3 poster print (paper size 29.7cm x 42cm/11.7in x 16.5in) made by combining scans of collage pieces. The range, as the name suggests, is inspired by reproductions of technical drawings. Traditionally blueprints were made using a contact print process on light-sensitive sheets introduced by Sir John Herschel in 1842. The process allowed rapid and accurate production of an unlimited number of copies. It was widely used for over a century for the reproduction of specification drawings used in construction and industry. Blueprints were characterized by white lines on a blue background, a negative of the original. An open edition. Printed in England on 324gsm eggshell white card. Titled and signed on the front by the artist. Packed flat with backing board and cellophane wrap.
