PHOTOGRAPH I took this photograph at a Worthing classic car event August 2019 HISTORY The Morris Minor Traveller was launched in 1952 as a new variant of the original Morris Minor saloon from 1948. The iconic vehicle with its unique ash wood frame was originally supplied with an 800cc engine and a split front windscreen but in 1956 they replaced it with a one piece and a new 950cc engine. A symbol its era normally driven in films by vicars and members of the village WI it ceased production in 1971 after 180,000 had been produced.
