All of our Talavera pottery is handmade and individually hand-painted and glazed. The process is extremely precise and involved, taking 4-8 weeks to create each piece. As a result, each piece varies slightly in color, shape, and design. Occasionally, you will notice a small paint smudge, fingerprint, or other "imperfection". These are all signs of authenticity and character,r reminding us of the human hands that formed it. Talavera pottery is NOT frost- or freeze-proof and must be taken indoors before the first frost. Talavera pottery does not like to sit in water, get hit by your sprinklers, or be in a greenhouse. Over time, small lines may appear on the blue portion of your Talavera pottery. This aging process is called crazing and does not affect a piece's durability. You can minimize crazing by avoiding drastic temperature changes, saltwater, and well water. Fired at high temperatures, glazed, and made in Mexico. Every CG Frog Planter is hollow inside with a drain whole at the bottom. This beautiful and playful frog is perfect for decoration, planter, etc. in your garden or any flat surface. EACH FROG SELLS SEPARATELY. Our Talavera Pottery is handmade and hand-painted by skilled artisans in Mexico. No two pieces are exactly alike, and some variation in the details will occur. Please be aware of this when placing an order. ITEMS LARGER THAN 16 INCHES SHIP ON A PALLET; Combined orders with multiple items also ship on a pallet; individual items ship through FedEx (Singular items are costly; sometimes the shipping is more expensive than the value of the piece itself). It is recommended to order multiple items to ship on a pallet to reduce freight charges. Pictures of a grouping are included to display the sizes of the items next to each other.
