How This Handmade Peridot Necklace Is Made Each necklace is made to order in my small Santa Fe studio. I hand-select every raw peridot for its color and natural crystal form, then encase it in copper using traditional electroforming techniques. Copper grows directly around the stone through an electrical process, following the stone's natural surface exactly. The pendant is then attached to a delicate satellite cable chain. No mass production, no shortcuts. Every piece from this studio is one of a kind. Care Remove before swimming, showering, or applying lotions. Store dry. Peridot is sensitive to acids and harsh chemicals, so keep away from perfumes and cleaning products. The antique copper patina will lighten naturally with wear.
