Our weaving mill is located in Tuscany; this is the land we breathe every day. Some fabrics have always been part of our culture. Like the diamond pattern found in the tradition of many European courts: it was made in Siena as early as the Early Middle Ages at the entrance to the Via Cassia first and later the Via Francigena. The name Pienza derives from the fact that this road led to the village of the same name. Some timeless examples of this pattern can be admired in medieval paintings, such as the Last Supper by Duccio da Boninsegna and in the cloister of Monteoliveto Maggiore in Buonconvento, Siena, in the depiction of the refectory of the Olivetan friars.
