This delightful pair is from our "Impressions" line of large stand-up figures. At 10.5" tall x 6" wide, the pair were pressed from an historic Haarlem, North Holland baking mold. Each piece has an easel attached to the back for stand-up. Our papercasts are hand-painted and gilded and each piece is unique. The figures are pulled from our collection of over 500 heritage European baking molds. Our paperclay (recycled paper), once molded and dried, forms a stiff, durable and beautifully detailed piece that is painted in a high-resin (non-tacky) pigmented beeswax and polished to a soft lustre. Impressions add a beautiful touch of colour and charm to table settings, tucked on bookshelves, or displayed in wall clusters. Just leave the easel closed (folded flat) and run a string through it, and your Cat & Dog duo become wall hanging pieces. Sold in pairs, Cats & Dogs come in complementary colours. Each piece is individually packaged in a cello bag so they can be sold individually.
