I use scrap-leather, as I find it very important to re-use good material. The macramé is made with the highest quality of thread, and the small gold-like beads are hand casted 100% raw brass beads. Neither the macramé or the beads will discolor. ☼ To make these leather dread beads I used the best materials, resulting in long-lasting beauty. The leather is strong and can handle water quite well. I do even shower (and soap) with them in my hair, and after a year they still look beautifull! Very fade-resistant. ☼ Also works great as a beard bead.
