A very old kantha quilt is used and the artists of India use their block printing skills to create a beautiful work of art. Sizes, color, and patterns will vary. There may be spots, patches, or areas where the top layer of fabric is worn to reveal some of the many layers of fabric. If you like items pristine and perfect these aren’t for you. If you love pieces that have been loved and find yourself wishing they could talk and tell you the life they lived, these are for you. They are a heavier weight and less comfortable for cuddling and wrapping up in. My favorite uses are thrown over a sofa, bedspread, or rug in a low-traffic area, as a beautiful wall hanging, or added to a row of hooks displayed with some of your other favorite treasures.
