Description
During the Hellenistic period, the Greeks identified Aphrodite with the goddess Isis. She was worshipped in the ancient city of Alexandria and had numerous temples in and around the city. Her lore and myth evolved over the ages from Greek to Roman (then known as Venus) and her story often changed depending on who was speaking. Much like any famous and beautiful woman today there was jealousy and fascination. Who was she really? I know her as a supporter of beauty and love, a carrier of the divine feminine energy and a protector and champion of women... who demands you love yourself and know your worth. This is the Vessel Necklace. A a symbol of fertility the "vessel" became an association of hers. But remember its "birthing" is not just about infants but ideas, projects, art... a divinely creative pool to drink from. Our Necklace is a tiny genuine pearl and a hammered greek vessel on a delicate 18" chain with a 3" extension for additional length if desired. Brass plated in 18K gold.

We've now ordered multiple times from Memento Mori - and each order is more beautiful than the last. This has been one of our top selling brand since we opened our 2nd location on the East Coast 6 months ago - and our customers cannot get enough of the ethereal and mystical designs. After admiring Memento Mori for some time, I finally brought some of their designs in to my shop and was not disappointed. Not only are all of their pieces beautiful, they ship quickly and have lovely packaging as well! Jennifer is very helpful and attentive--some of the best customer service I've ever received from a vendor!
