The story The SPOOL upcycle hanging lamp was once part of a welding machine. Welding wire was originally wrapped around the coil. When the welding wire is used up, the coil is usually discarded. Tolhuijs gives the coil a second life and turns this waste product into a sustainable design lamp. The SPOOL hanging lamp is rightfully sustainable and social Dutch design. Both the obtaining of the raw material and the production are on home soil. The SPOOL Classic is copper and comes with colored SKINS, available in 5 colors.
