Vintage British 58 Pattern P58 Web Equipment YOKE SUSPENDERS, Mk.1 Made of heavy-duty cotton canvas with aluminum hardware. The suspenders were designed to help distribute the weight of the load attached to the belt. Additionally, the field pack is attached to the suspenders. This early version does not have the web loops on the shoulders to stabilize the pack straps that the later "modified" issue has. GRADING CRITERIA Used Good: This is a good deal if you don't mind cleaning and making a few repairs. Expect pieces to have various markings such as service members names and numbers, written or painted on. Some pieces may have tape, minor (repairable) damage such as small tears or holes, frayed edges, loose stitching, and corrosion/rust on hardware.
