Variegated yarns will have small deviations between skeins, as expected from hand dyed yarn. All yarn is dyed to order and is added into the dye schedule once accepted. The initial quoted time is to account for a heavy schedule. The yarn was darker than expected; it is pulling more dark gold and rust coloring. I thought it would have more of the other colors from the picture that were lighter and had more of a pink balance.
