We are the perfect matcha! Now in a handy box. Premium Matcha (40g), the BBODY Matcha is ceremonial matcha, of premium quality and the daily boost you need. We import it directly from our tea farm in Kyoto Japan to ensure the best quality. You can see in its color and structure that enormous importance is attached to the production process. Our matcha is picked in the spring during the first harvest season. The young leaves and buds are selected because they offer the best taste and quality. Then the plants are covered with shade cloths or wicker mats. During normal processes, the shading technique takes 4 weeks; it takes our farm 7 weeks. This shading technique, known as “tana,” reduces exposure to sunlight and encourages plants to produce more chlorophyll and amino acids, such as L-theanine.
