This desert bat (Antrozous pallidus) is an insectivore and is famous for consuming Arizona bark scorpions, the most venomous scorpions in North America! Their immunity to scorpion venom isn’t definitively understood. This original design was carved from wax by artist Spring Winders and is cast in small batches in the Heliotrope studio in Barrio Viejo, Tucson, Arizona. The bat bolo tie can provide a twist to a classic Western look, or be worn with more goth / vamp looks. Bat wingspan measures 2.75” wide.
