Made in America. Made to Order. Family owned and operated in Edgewood, Iowa, Kendrick Home signs are handcrafted to order in America using real Midwest wood from our family sawmill. Each sign is built from genuine 3–4 inch wooden shim boards, carefully framed together by hand. Because every board has its own unique wood grain and character, no two pieces are ever the same—your sign will always be one-of-a-kind. These natural details aren’t flaws; they’re what make each piece authentic, personal, and enduring. We’re proud to keep our work American-made and rooted in sustainability: every product is crafted from locally sourced, responsibly harvested wood that would otherwise go to waste. In every design, the story of the wood becomes part of the story of your home. The Truth About Seams & Backs of Our Signs Because our signs are crafted from real planks—not one flat piece of MDF or pressed board—you’ll always see natural seams where the boards meet. These seams are not cracks or damage; they’re proof that your sign is made from authentic wood. On the back, you may also notice the joint lines or framing. This is exactly how true plank-built wood construction looks: sturdy, intentional, and part of the craftsmanship that makes your sign unique. These natural details are what make your piece one-of-a-kind.

Our signs 12" and smaller are designed to hang directly from the frame and do not include additional hanging hardware. Larger sizes include hanging hardware, with our largest sizes featuring wire and D-hook hangers. Thank you for your order and for taking the time to share your experience. Below is more information on how do I hang my wood sign. The majority of our signs are free-standing and can be stood up directly by their frame. Small sizes can be hung from the walnut frame lip on the back with one or two screws. Our large sizes (24x24, 30x24, 36x12, 36x18, 36x24, 40x20, 40x32, 48x16) come with a wire hanger and instructions for easy hanging.
