While much of the world sleeps, these Darklings emerge from their slumber. Desmodus Draculae, Vampire Bats, made with ritual grade beeswax with otherworldly notes of Copal, Vanilla and obviously, Dragon's Blood! These darling Darklings add a moody ambiance to Altars, dinner tables, or any sacred lair. Adorably eerie with their wings wrapped tight, sculpted in dramatic black wax, each candle is a resting nocturnal beauty...until it’s time to glow. The details on these bats are wonderful down to its little feet and flat nose. Measures approx. 3 x 2 in. •The Desmodus Draculae was a large, extinct species of vampire bat that lived in the Americas from the Late Pleistocene to the early Holocene, possibly as recently as 300 years ago. The species was named in reference to Count Dracula, due to its larger size and the legends surrounding the vampire.

I recently received my candles, and they are absolutely beautiful! The craftsmanship and quality are outstanding -you can tell so much care went into making them.
