Nerikomi technique originated in the East and means the folding of coloured clay. This technique facilitates random surface design which offers unique individual pieces. Please note due to the nature of this nerikomi process that the item you receive may not be exactly as pictured due to natural warping of the porcelain clay and slight differences in the design due to the different layers in the block that they are built from.
