Inspired by the intellectual setting of Icelandic higher education, Nam is a turtleneck made from Climate Beneficial Wool and US hemp rib. Oversized sleeves are made from a generous drop in the shoulder seam. A boxy width is proportioned by a slight crop in order to make the oversized nature of this turtleneck overwhelming. Climate Beneficial Wool is a by-product of employing carbon farming practices. Sheep raised on a farm that can sequester carbon back into the ground, as opposed to sending it into the atmosphere, are actually reducing their carbon footprint and creating a beneficial impact on the environment.
