Ideal for 1 to 5 people. This terracotta worm composter can be installed in a kitchen or on a balcony. It composts four times faster than a traditional composter, without any odor, combining design and ease of use. It allows composting up to 50kg of bio-waste per year, while remaining compact and elegant. Our composters are handmade with artisanal expertise from raw clay. Each piece is unique! (Slight variations (1 to 3 cm) may exist and are part of the product's charm.) Compost worms are to be purchased separately from the supplier Ceercle, itself a producer of compost worms in the Lyon region. Our terracotta composters are protected by a silica-based hydrophobic coating. However, terracotta remains a natural and living material, which can be sensitive to extreme cold. In case of negative temperatures, we recommend bringing your composter indoors or protecting it with a winter cover.
