For over 40 years JACKS has been perfecting and continues to do so as Sharla is passionate about taking the sauce to the next level. In January 2012 Sharla’s brisket won the grand prize at the Dr. Martin Luther King Soul food cook off in Muskogee, Oklahoma. In June 2012 Just Another Country Kickin’ Sauce (JACKS) was officially bottled by Sharla due to the positive feedback from vendors. By October 2012 JACKS placed 7th out of over 500 entries to the “tomato mild” category of the American Royal Barbeque Sauce contest in Kansas City, Kansas. As of April 2021 JACKS is now available on Walmart.com.
