The Two Post Strike Plate is a heavy duty deadbolt strike plate reinforcement that provides an upgraded physical barrier to forced entry. The Two Post Strike Plate has two 4 1/2" posts that are set into the studs of the house to secure the deadbolt strike. Applied force is distributed by the lengthened strike plate, longer screws and the two posts embedded into the house studs. Included is an installation template and screws. Measurements: 4-3/4" x 1-1/4" strike plate with two 4-1/4" posts. Deadbolt opening is 6/8" x 1-5/8". Tools required are a chisel, phillips screwdriver, hammer, 1/8", 1/2" and 1" drill bits and drill.
