Description

An Appeal To Heaven Flag - One of America’s first unofficial flags during the Revolutionary War was the “An Appeal to Heaven” flag, inspired by the writings of John Locke. This banner, boldly proclaiming “An Appeal to Heaven,” flew in some of the nation’s earliest battles, including the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Battle of Boston. Behind the iconic pine tree and inscription is Psalm 35, which was read at the First Continental Congress. Today, we once again make an appeal to Heaven, seeking God’s grace and presence upon America. * Print size: 6" x 24" * Black double matting with glass * Frame size: 12 ½ x 30 ½ x ¾" * Paper type: Acid free paper with fade free ink * Frame style: Grooved * Available in different frame styles
