The Baja Norte is a hand woven and sewn palm leaf hat made by a group of artisans in Mexico. The Baja Norte Dark is Pressed for slightly longer than the Baja Norte Light to give it the toasted color. The Baja Norte Light is pressed in a way as to retain the natural color of the dried palm. It is made with an elastic sweatband for a light and comfortable fit. Palm leaf is a very durable material that can take a beating and holds up against water, either salt or fresh.
