XO Collesi is a high-quality Italian Brandy, entirely distilled from Verdicchio wine in a steam-heated discontinuous bain-marie alembic. The winning feature of this product is undoubtedly its long artisanal processing: 13 years of aging in Limousin oak barrels, where Rosso Conero wine has been aged for at least 2 years. For these reasons, we recommend tasting Collesi Brandy in large glasses, preferably neat, as ice would alter its characteristics. Bright amber color with topaz and orange reflections, of great luminosity. Tasting this Brandy opens an infinite olfactory range that goes from dried fruit to leather, to hints of pipe tobacco and earth, then envelops us with sweet spices like cinnamon, vanilla, and star anise. The taste is dry, powerful, impetuous, overwhelming the senses but with elegance, leaving us almost confused and dazed as it fades away, leaving behind a long trail of raisins.
