Description
Older than influence. This is the only piece we made that looks like this. A single column of Balochistan onyx, hand-carved and turned until the stone's own banding rose to the surface. The field runs soft sage — milky, translucent, lit from within when the sun crosses it. Then the break: one amber patch, burnt and rust-edged, with a dark seam cutting clean through it. The Earth kept its record here. We left it unobscured. No two veins run the same. This one is the only one. Set it where the light moves. Watch the stone answer. Made by earth. Shaped by hand. Kept by you. ⸻ DETAILS Hand-carved natural onyx, single-source Balochistan, finished in San Diego. Sealed with food-grade beeswax — no resins, no dyes, no toxic finishes. Each vase is turned from a solid block; the sage field, amber patch, and dark seam are natural to this stone and unique to this piece. Dimensions: 8" × 3". Weight: 1.5 lb. Holds dried or fresh stems. ⸻ CRAFTED WITHOUT COMPROMISE Carved by master hands in Balochistan — the cradle of craft, among the oldest making-grounds on Earth. Finished and sealed in San Diego with food-grade beeswax alone. The strata occurs once. Earth, unobscured. ⸻ COMES WITH Recycled cotton tote. Hand-stamped brand story card. QR catalog card. All in recyclable packaging. ⸻ OUR STORY SAÉA — سایہ — the Urdu word for shade, shelter, protection. Load-bearing, not decoration. We carve single-source onyx in Balochistan and finish each piece by hand in San Diego, slow and small-batch. Real has weight. You can't hand down a password. Rooted in intention. Made to keep.
