Wichi women venture into the forest in small groups to harvest this special material, hand-picking the chaguar leaves. The process of creating these bags and textiles is both intricate and time-honored: 1. Harvesting: The fibres are carefully separated by hand after collecting the leaves. 2. Spinning: The fibres are spun into strong threads by rolling them on the women's thighs. 3. Dyeing: Natural pigments from roots, seeds, and fruits are used to dye the fibres, creating rich and earthy tones in each piece. 4.
