Description
This mug features my own original calligraphy and watercolor of Frost's "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" is perfect for winter and Christmas. Many people read this poem in school -- if you didn't, it is about stopping by a forest on the night of the winter solstice ("the darkest evening of the year") and enjoying the sight, the only sound being the bells on the horse's harness. The design circles the cup. I did the calligraphy with a Victorian-style dip pen, using made-in-America deep green ink. This mug has sold well for me on Etsy. I have also put the design on a greeting card. It has wide appeal among people who love Frost, people who celebrate Christmas and people who do not. Dark Academia and cottagecore literary folks love it -- so do people who like nature. • Hand-illustrated and lettered by Mary Kunz Goldman • Artwork circles the cup (right- and left-hand friendly) • Glossy ceramic finish with vivid, long-lasting print • Microwave- and dishwasher-safe • Choose 11 ounce or 15 ounce size • Classic white ceramic shape
