St. Philippine Duchesne Retablo For Perseverance Amid Adversity These wooden retablos come in 4 sizes on pine and/or Baltic birch boards. Pocket - 1 1/2" x 3" Ornament - 2 1/2" x 4 3/4" Small - 3 1/2" x 7" Large - 4 1/2" x 11 1/8" She was a French religious sister and a prominent early member of the Religious Sacred Heart of Jesus. She came to New Orleans in 1818, realizing her dream of being a missionary in America. She traveled into the wilds of Missouri territory, where she established a Sacred Heart convent and the first free school west of the Mississippi. In 1841, she helped establish a school for French and Potawatomi children in Kansas. Quote and prayer by St. Duchesne: "Do not look back to the past, nor forward to the future, claim only the present, for it holds God's will." "Lord, You alone are the Center in which I find rest. Give me your arm to support me, Your shoulders to carry me, Your breast to lean upon, Your Cross to uphold me, Your Body to nourish me. In You, Lord, I sleep and rest in peace." The items are lov. They came so quickly! Wow I was shocked. The only thing I wish where different is the packaging slip. I wish it had photos on it. Several of the angels, have the same names and the faire app doesn't have the packing numbers listed on their app. I often have to go to your personal website to double check #numbers. It's confusing. Thanks for listening. Our customers love these. I am making an angle/ Saint tree with them this Christmas.
