Care Instruction of wooden dough bowl candle: To Enjoy Your Candle Safely & Responsibly Your artisan candle is crafted from natural materials, including a flammable wooden bowl. Proper care is essential for both safety and performance. Essential Safety Precautions • Always supervise a burning candle. Never leave it unattended. • Keep out of reach of children and pets. • Place on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and other burning candles (maintain at least 6 inches / 15cm of space). • Remove all decorative elements from the wooden bowl before lighting, as they are organic and flammable. For an Optimal Burn • Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm) to prolong burn time and prevent sooting. • On the first burn, allow the wax to form a full melt pool across the entire surface. This prevents future tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle's life. This may take 2-3 hours. • Limit burning sessions to a maximum of 3 hours. • Extinguish properly using a snuffer to avoid smoke. Important Warnings • Never allow the candle to burn all the way down. Discontinue use when ½ inch (5mm) of wax remains to protect the wooden bowl. • The wooden bowl and all its contents are flammable. Failure to follow these instructions significantly increases the risk of fire and can damage the vessel.
