Frankincense resin from the boswellia tree has been used as medicine and an incense for ritual and purification for over six thousand years. We use ethically sourced resin which contains the incredibly anti-inflammatory boswellic acids that are too large to be distilled into an essential oil. Boswellia tree populations are threatened so we source the resin from ethical harvesters who steward existing populations. Sunny, bright calendula promotes the repair of tissues– minimizing scars; healing wounds, rashes, acne, or abrasions; and reducing inflammation. Jojoba penetrates deeply and is easily absorbed without clogging pores. It helps skin regulate its oil production and moisture levels.
