This design is great for embossing medium.  We have 2 sizes.  Small fits a 12 x 16 canvas and Large fits a 16 x 20 canvas.  We used a flat canvas board. It's a 2 part stencil.  We painted a flat canvas with our background then stenciled the tree and copy.  We added some shading to the tree then once that was dry we placed the 2nd stencil to use embossing medium for the snow on the tree, snowflakes and stars.  We allowed the embossing medium to dry overnight and placed the stencil down again to paint the large star with gold metallic paint. The 2nd stencil lines up on the 2 pieces in the red circle that were previously painted with the base image.   10 mil reusable mylar stencils.
