The Algueira Mencía 2020 is a Spanish red wine from the D.O. Ribeira Sacra in Galicia. It is made 100% from the indigenous Mencía grape variety and comes from the steep, slate and schist vineyards along the Sil River. Tasting notes: * Color: Light purple-red with a garnet edge. * Aroma: Transparent expression of the Mencía grape with notes of sour cherries and raspberries, subtle mineral hints, a touch of bitter herbs, as well as balsamic and zesty nuances. * Taste: Fresh, energetic, and smooth on the palate. The alcohol is barely noticeable, the acidity is excellent, and the tannins are lively.
