This beautiful white ceramic mortar is so useful on its own. And, it also stacks with some of our graters and juicers so they can be left on the kitchen counter stacked to grab when cooking! Measures approx. 3" diameter x 4" long (to end of handle) x 1.5" high. Comes with a round silicone mat to put under the mortar to keep it from shifting during use. The silicone is normally a perfectly cut circle, but there may be instances where it is ever so slightly wavy on the edge. Made from porcelain. Hand wash. This mortar does not come with a pestle. Pair with one of our hinoki cypress wood pestles or our twig pestles. I recommend a 5" or smaller pestle.
