Description
This magnet set features our tribute to the Golden Girls design. A great size (and pricepoint) for office gift exchanges, stocking stuffers, teacher's gifts, and impulse buys. • Plum glass, printed in gold mica • Super strong neomydium magnet affixed to the back • Handmade in the USA Magnets are screen printed, fused glass. Glass is cut, and screen printed by hand with fine glass enamels, then fused overnight to 1415 degrees in a kiln. Each piece is made by artist Laurie Freivogel in her Oak Park studio.

Route 66 Fused Glass 1.75" Magnet

I wish these would have turned out. The color was wrong (I ordered green and got black). The magnet that was placed on the back wasn’t strong enough to magnetize due to heaviness of the glass. I ended giving them all away to customers.

Oh no! First off, I am so sorry about the magnets! I ordered from a new supplier before the tariffs hit, and a handful of them are not as strong as my previous magnets. They test fine on my heavy duty steel board, but I have one other customer that had issues on a few (less than 10% of her order) not sticking well to thin metal, which I replaced immediately when she came to me. I am MORE than happy to replace yours as well. As far as them not being green, the magnets come stock in white on dark charcoal - I did not have a note anywhere that you wanted a custom color.
