During the cooking process, this absorbed water is released in the form of steam. This steaming method of cooking will ensure your food is tender as well as infused with all-natural flavors. The bottom section was coated with a glass frit glaze which benefits users with a quick clean-up. Hand wash with regular dish soap suggested. Use in a microwave oven or regular oven up to 500°F.
